  • Social Anxiety

One of the most common conditions in our social media age, social anxiety disorder is diagnosed when we feel like we're going to be judged by others or not live up to others' standards. CBT not only treats, but cures social anxiety disorder by helping people recognize they can't read minds and giving them experiences that correct the false beliefs that cause this problem.

  • Generalized Anxiety (Chronic Worry)

Do you ever get so overwhelmed with worry that you lose sleep, feel crabby and become tense? Generalized anxiety disorder happens when worries overwhelm us in this way for months or even years on end. CBT can help us put our worries into perspective and finally relax.

  • Depression

It's normal do be sad or down from time to time, but clinical depression happens when we're feeling sad or down most of the day nearly every day or when we've lost interest and pleasure in things we normally enjoy for at least two weeks. These and other symptoms of depression can be described in the acronym SIG E-CAPS: 1) Sleep problems, 2) Interest reduction, 3) Guilt, 4) Energy loss, 5) Concentration problems, 6) Appetite changes, 7) Psychomotor slowing or agitation, 8) Suicidal thoughts

  • Autism-Related Issues

If you're living with high-functioning autism, you may benefit from CBT to help improve communication skills, read nonverbal cues, control emotions, and to reduce anxiety. Our therapists can help you increase your ability to be flexible and self-motivated in your personal improvement.

  • Insomnia

CBT has been called the gold standard treatment by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Using specific behavioral techniques to adjust sleep timing and evaluating the thoughts around sleep and sleeplessness, CBT is one of the most effective ways of dealing with insomnia without the risks of medication.
