Gina Ruiz, LMHC, CSAC

Gina Ruiz, LMHC, CSAC, obtained her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University in Colorado after attending the University of Hawaii in Hilo. In addition to her understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for adults, she has experience working with children and youth with autism and specializes in treating anxiety disorders e.g. social anxiety, generalized anxiety.

Ms. Ruiz’s therapeutic approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy with principles of positive psychology, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy. In her free time Ms. Ruiz enjoys bodyboarding, camping, traveling and spending time at home with her husband and cat.
