Frank Bartolone, Psy.D.
Frank Bartolone, Psy.D. grew up in the New York City area and moved to Hawaii in 1986 in order to complete his doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He has been a Hawaii licensed psychologist since 1992.
Dr. Bartolone’s theoretical orientation is to use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy; Rational Emotive Therapy; Lazarus model of psychotherapy; and Mindfulness. All of his therapeutic approaches are evidence-based, that is, reviewed to be the gold standard of psychotherapy.
Dr. Bartolone has experience working with children, teens, family therapy, as well as with adults and elderly clients. He feels comfortable working with clients facing issues of Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Personality Disorders, Insomnia, PTSD, Adjustment Disorders, Grief Therapy, ADHD, Conduct Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorders, and, clients diagnosed with Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorders.
He feels equally comfortable providing person-to-person sessions as well as telehealth services.
In his free time, Dr. Bartolone enjoys exercising, traveling, reading and listening to music.
