Ashley Wiberg, LCSW, CSAC
Ashley Wiberg, LCSW, CSAC, has been a leader and team-builder in the world of healthcare in Hawaii. A co-founder and former clinical director of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Center of Hawaii, Ms. Wiberg spent five years at the Bobby Benson Center, a residential treatment program on Oahu’s North Shore. During this time, Ms. Wiberg gained expertise working with individuals with a variety of severe problems, including depression, anxiety, addiction, and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as other behavioral and emotional problems. In addition to treating adults, Ms. Wiberg has broad experience working with adolescents.
Ms. Wiberg has avidly pursued training in evidence-based therapy approaches. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a descendent of CBT that teaches individuals how to regulate their emotions and improve their interpersonal relationships, even during times of crisis. In 2016, Ms. Wiberg was certified as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division of the Hawaii Department of Health.
In addition to her position at the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Center of Hawaii, Ms. Wiberg works closely with Ho’ola na Pua, an organization that helps victims of underage sex trafficking recover and live free of exploitation.
